Bars & Pubs

  • Mulberry

  • Formerly the Seven Stars Bar & Dining Room, the Mulberry has high ceilings, large windows and expansive floorspace which - along with a propensity for tall mirrors - can make it seem emptier than it is. But the staff are chatty and extremely friendly, and it's an easy place in which to feel comfortable. Beers on tap include Hoegaarden and Staropramen, and there are decent wine and cocktail lists, as well as a good range of whiskies and rums. Food is served, and although the menu isn't extensive, it's been carefully chosen and the quality is extremely good. An average main costs about £12, but sides and starters are fairly cheap.

I love this place - I have only been on a Monday or a Tuesday night when they do an offer on the food - but the food is excellent and the setting is really nice - fantastic place to watch the footy - very smart
