Is it the jukebox? Is it the tatty velvet furniture and wobbly stools? Is it just habit? Whatever the reason, people still love Bradley's, a cornucopia of tack at the Oxford Street end of Hanway Street. A hotchpotch of local workers, shoppers and amorous foreign exchange students fills the cramped two-floor space, enraging passing taxi drivers as they spill on to the narrow street outside. All are happy to pay slightly over the odds for draught Cruzcampo, San Miguel and Budvar and bottled Estrella, Beck's and Warsteiner as they strain to chat over 'Geno' playing for the umpteenth time on the juke. All that's changed since the early 1990s is the staff - they're mainly Hungarians these days.
