Tapas and flamenco, vino tinto and cortado coffees: you could never complain that Nueva Costa Dorada isn't authentic. You could, however, note that this cavernous basement, formerly a pretty cheesy affair, has become a rather sleek operation. A lengthy cocktail menu offers Flamenkitos made with Absolut Kurrant, Licor 43 and cranberry juice, and El Matadors with Havana 3, mint and lime, complementing a wine list drawn from all over Spain. A Joan Sarda chardonnay is a nice find at £21.50; a standard Rioja of either colour will set you back £4/£15. Roast piquilla peppers (£5.50) and pipirrana de habichuelas chopped veg in oil (£3.95) stand out among the tapas.
