Very much a weekend venue, this compact, keen-to-be-cool cocktail bar is still searching for a market during the week - something a 2008 relaunch under new management aims to address. The monthly wine tasting and mixology nights are a start, the latter consisting of cocktail classes for beginners. The resident musical duo on Tuesday nights has injected life into proceedings too. And though the friendly staff can't be faulted, the slightly awkward ground-floor space still feels like an unsolved puzzle. The cosier, characterful basement full of sofas and mirrors is the perfect antidote. Here an inbuilt DJ booth provides the soundtrack for lively Friday and Saturday nights.

This place just gets better and better - the cocktails are great and the new DJ is amazing - we loved the drummer too when we went there last Friday. I dont think there is anything quite like it in the Clapham area and I recommend booking a table downstairs with Antoine.
I've been to FB twice now, both this summer, first a was a big lively party there with friends, and two weeks ago for my girlfriends birthday...we reserved half of downstairs. Everyone loved it there, the staff are very friendly, cocktails are excellent, DJ played fun stuff all night. It's decorated really well, awesome lights upstairs. My only tiny complaint is that i'd like a pint sometimes, not always bottled beer. Cheers FB, see you again soon.

come on when are we going to have people with experience in bar industry running bars. this place is the perfect example to say let the pro doing the job. ATTITUDE, RUDE, CLUELESS this is what the team is about dare ask for a mojito and maybe in 20 minute you will get it...forget this placeis so BAD
