Time Out has teamed up with tastelondon to offer you a fantastic one month free trial
The leopard-print tops, thickly applied eyeliner (boys and girls) and sweeping fringes clustered outside this venue on a Saturday night might put you in mind of a Manic Street Preachers gig circa 1993. Inside, though, the landscape couldn't be more contemporary, with a selection of the finest indie bands taking to the stage. Eternally chipped paintwork and sticker-plastered walls ensure the venue retains its squat/student bedsit feel year-in, year-out. Red Stripe and San Miguel are the draught highlights of an unremarkable drinks list, but with a past performers' list containing most successful London guitar bands, it's not the beverages that people come here for.
