  • Cheesy as its name sounds, this Young's pub really is just that. Hidden down a side street, it has everything a traditional pub lover needs: Young's Bitter and Special, cheery staff, higgledy-piggledy seating, a heated outside area and a soppy golden retriever who wants to be more than friends. The back room is full of caricatures of the regulars and a pull-down screen shows the football. On our visit, they were still talking about when the American came in four months ago - we were amazed he ever left.
