The key to this attractive, candlelit corner pub is its location, just far enough from Upper Street to be off the pub-crawler radar. That's not to say it's quiet. The upbeat crowd - verging on raucous - sups standard draught beers, bottles (Corona, Beck's, Duvel) and so-so cocktails (£6.50, also available by the jug) to a background of property chat (local estate agents feature heavily). Key sporting fixtures are shown and decent pub grub includes tapas (£4), sausages and mash (£11) and clam chowder (£6.75). If you want a table on weekend evenings, start camping out at noon.

Paid £14.95 for Sunday Lunch very POOR value for money myself and wife had Roast Beef which was very tough when we complained they offered my wife a glass of wine but all she wanted was a good sunday lunch.Would not recomend this place to anyone.
A great bar, efficient and friendly staff i would be glad to call this bar my local, this can be a difficcult thing to find in London where one is spoilt for choice. it has comedy on speakers into the toilets so there's always a laugh to be had. they have a good seletion of booze and a great ever changing menu it can get a little cold at times though. That management team must be working hard to keep this at a great sevice standard. 5 stars indeed.
The evening I visited I have never encountered such rude and obnoxious staff for quite some time. In the end I had to walk out without actually getting served but having experienced the attitude of the staff. Unless you want to feel humiliated and ignored I would not recommend to anyone. For a pub that wasn’t even busy, a strange way of treating customers during such hard times and it amazes me how a pub can behave as if providing the customer with a courteous, friendly and polite service is such an inconvenience.
The Angelic is an excellent spot. Very casual, Sunday-feel with plenty of different spots to sit - whether you want to dine upstairs, chill on the couches, sit at the bar or outside tables on a sunny day. I've always found the food to be great and never had a bad experience here. Such a convenient location too. Recommended.
