Located in a quiet suburb, the brass fittings and chintzy fabrics of this charming Fuller's pub testify to an age before stripped floors and sharing platters - it's so traditional, it still holds to mid-afternoon closing. The same family have run the place for 25 years, but they could well have been beaten to the bar by the cheery locals, sat around bantering as if they never move. One side of the split bar has a darts area. Expect Fuller's ESB, Chiswick and a seasonal guest on the pumps.
