Only a short hop from the retail chaos of the King's Road, the Cooper's Arms is distant enough in character and clientele from many of the street's bars and pubs to be worth a short detour - especially if you like low-key, subdued surroundings. It's a favourite lunch spot and evening local for SW3 office workers and old school Chelsea veterans. The food doesn't justify much of a journey, but for a pleasant evening supping Young's ales or continental lagers (Peroni, Leffe) under the watchful gaze of a moose's head, the Cooper's really is the business.
