This little DJ bar has two advantages over fellow Underdog-owned venue Green & Red: later opening and surprisingly good beer, including Brooklyn and Anchor Steam in bottles, and tall silver taps of Sierra Nevada and Maisie's Weisse. An insipid pisco sour steered us away from the well-considered cocktail selection (featuring some rarities like an Applejack Rabbit of calvados, maple syrup, lemon and orange juice) towards the short wine list. During the day, the dark brick front section of the bar makes for good lounging; by night, the teeny DJ booth midway back whisks things into an inoffensively crowded stumble, during which people will stand on your feet - but you won't need steel toecaps.
