Bars & Pubs

  • Anda de Bridge

  • The bridge in question may be a particularly shabby piece of town planning, but Anda de Bridge makes a reasonable fist of bringing some Caribbean bonhomie to Shoreditch. The deceptively large concrete interior could be more atmospheric, although the fairy lights add a bright and typically unpretentious glow, but the lilting ska, reggae and R&B soundtrack and cheery service should help you sink into the sofas. Good for a bite to eat in the early evening (dumplings, plantain, ackee and the like) or a rum cocktail later on, when DJs lift the tempo and you can almost imagine yourself a part of the colourful wall murals.

I like this pub - it has a nice atmos, and I think its location means it's been overlooked by most Shoreditch tourists.
Plus it's where Mrs 20goto10 and I had our first date. So there!
