When this tiny basement club opened in 2007, owner Zimon spent about a tenner on decoration, wrote 'no jeans, no cunts' on his flyers, and opened the doors. Attracting a dressed-up crowd who live and breathe vintage (as opposed to weekend wearers of Topshop replicas), it's as shabby as you'll find, but that only feeds the sleazy, speakeasy vibe. Blues and jazz bands squeeze onto the small dancefloor, feisty burlesque babes work the bar, and a bloke in a straw boater works the piano.
