Plonked in a surprisingly middle-England village in Walthamstow, the Nag's Head is a pub with an easy-going attitude. Unwind on a leather sofa and enjoy a coconut Mongoza from the range of Belgian beers on offer, or sit and listen to chill-out jazz over a pint of Oscar Wilde from the ample selection of ales. If the velvet tablecloths are not to your liking you can always retreat to the spacious beer garden, unsurprisingly popular on a sunny afternoon. Too many Mongozas? Treat your beer-gut to a (women only) belly-dancing class upstairs on a Tuesday evening. This is a cat-friendly, rather than a child-friendly pub; they have their own cat, Billy, and a couple of locals' cats follow their owners into the pub. When the last pub cat, Big Blackie, died last August, they held a funeral for him with a gospel choir.

Fun, outgoing person with GSOH. Doesn't take life too seriously. Likes sports, cinema, reading, restaurants, pubs, quiet nights in
We need a nice music pub , jazz is so limited . Why not more English beers , with local bands on the weekend or tribute bands.
The music puts a lot of people off from trying this pub , staff friendly but service slow.
The space inside could be used more effectively.
