Utobeer runs this incongruously modest bar, a small antiseptic room and adjoining heated patio containing a range of beers that would put a Belgian bar to shame. In truth, this is simply a more convivial outlet than the Utobeer's stall in Borough Market round the corner - but welcome nonetheless. The half-dozen taps are changed every week - you can usually count on Veltins and Sierra Nevada - while in the fridge are beers made from seaweed, mango and heather. Friendly staff will dispense their knowledge, and perhaps even entice you to try an 11% proof Belgian type.
