Lost Society? You must be joking! They're all here, supping cocktails, gossiping in the small courtyard garden and picking at the platters.
The 60-long cocktail list is a handsome one, with some unlikely but successful inventions: the Black Cherry Manhattan mixes Sazerac rye whiskey with Red Stag cherry bourbon, dry vermouth and bitters, for instance.
Beers are bottled and some quite obscure, whether from Scotland (Midnight Sun Porter), America (Old Scratch from Maryland's Flying Dog brewery, Goose Island's 312 Urban Wheat Ale) or beyond.
It all gets a bit more frantic at weekends, when DJs crank out tunes for party-keen Claphamites happy to dress up and pay a fiver to get in. The same folks run the fine Lost Angel in Battersea Park Road.

Tables outdoors ( 4, front garden; 5, back garden ), Babies and children admitted ( until 5pm ), Entertainment ( DJs 9pm Fri, Sat )Great place, went back after a few years away and this place still rocks like it used to!! Yeah we had to wait a while to be served but then realised they have a bar in the garden = bonus. Great vibe, great tunes and we danced all night. Defo be back soon.
Super place, it may get busy but, it has such a lovely atmosphere which you do not experience anywhere else in in South London that I dont mind waiting a little longer to be served. Staff are always friendly and i can only sing the praises of Lost Society.
Not a bad place but they need to cut the amount of people they let in on Saturday night by half - it gets dangerously busy (sure they are due a visit from LFB soon) which also adds to the stupid wait at the bar. End result is great but not worth waiting 20 minutes for. Pity as if they cut down on their greed by trying to jam people in it would be a great place. Go early for the food and then leave before it gets too busy. Shame.
Flash style bar this, great cocktails although when busy at the weekend the bar waiting time can get a bit silly whilst the bar staff frantically try and keep pace......in vain. However, you won't be disappointed when you finally get you drink .......... only when you decide you'd love another but it's gonna take you 10-15 minutes to get it!
We have eaten here twice on a Saturday night for friends brithdays and the food is great and reasonably priced at £18 for two courses. The Malbec was awesome but pricey at £24 for a bottle.
On both occasions when we have eaten on the Saturday night you are warned that you need to vacate the table at 9pm. Fair enough, but on both occasions the service has been rushed and the staff are clearly under pressure to get you fed and out of your seats, not great when as a group you are spening £700+. This created a bit of a flash point between us and the staff, which wasn't well handled. 4/10 customer service. We agreed that we wouldn't be making this booking again, advise you do the same. Tunes are always quality.
