A gregarious crowd gathers at this urban bar-diner, both in the main, street-level bar and in the larger space downstairs where DJs play. It's an industrial space with wooden-slatted walls, exposed iron columns and an open kitchen.
The mixed clientele tucks into a food selection that runs from snacks such as smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels to main courses of grilled squid, butter beans and lamb's lettuce.
Pilsner Urquell, König, Bitburger and Köstritzer Schwarzbier are the pricey continental draught options, accompanied by a dozen wines by the glass. For cocktails, sample the signature Market Place Punch (Pimm's No.1, Finlandia Grapefruit vodka, fresh mint, strawberries, cucumber, citrus fruits and cloudy apple juice).

Me and my work mates are regulars since we work round the corner at Kiss Fm. We always like heading to this venue since although it's in the West End the crowd is great and the bouncers aren't your normal meatheads lol! It's really relaxed but they know how to throw a good party :) No issues with my birthday booking. It closes a little early though - 2am
A place which can be cool but which is actually terrible. The crowd is bad and the bouncers/management even worse.
I went there two weeks ago and a guy while trying to punch (for no reason) one of my guy friend actually punched one of my girl friend in the face.
The guy was taken outside by the boucers but a moment after he was back to the club. When we talked to the boucers to understand why, they told us that they didn't know he punched a girl, they thought he only punched a guy!
Don't go there!
I went there last Saturday with a group of friends. The music was great, but the way bouncers handle trouble maker is incredibly poor. A guy punched my female friend in the face, and got away with it. We reported him to the security downstairs who got him out, but the bouncer upstairs let him back in after a few minutes.
Another guy was annoying the girls of our group. One my male friend asked him to leave us alone. To what the guy replied he didnt give a sh*t. As the music was too loud to speak, they went outside. The bouncer didn't ask for an explanation, and ended up not letting my friend back in, but let the other guy in, although he was the one causing trouble.
I'm definitely not returning there, despite the music... Don't go with girls, guys over there can't behave, and are encouraged into doing so.. and the bouncers will take the defence of the sneaky douchebag..
