The Priory Arms is known for its dedication to quality beers and ales. One end of the convivial interior is topped by entangled vines of dry hops; the other, around the bar counter, is encrusted with scores of multicoloured beer mats, souvenirs from ales previously featured here.

You might find Hop Back's Summer Lightning alongside the output of Sharp's, Cottage Brewery and London independents: Twickenham Fine Ales, Camden Town Brewery, Tottenham's Redemption, and Sambrook's, brewed just a couple of miles to the west in Battersea. The pub is equally proud of its stock of German and Belgian brews available by the bottle, with Rothaus, Floris and Erdinger among the wheat varieties.

A daily-changing menu offers around eight fairly priced main dishes, plus standard burgers. Board games and chess (note the boards on the veneered tables) provide entertainment; smokers take to the front terrace.
