Its wide-open windows facing Putney station, Citizen Smith (didn't he come from Tooting?) frequently fills to the brim with young punters on the razzle and on the pull. It's not so brash that Pimm's or jugs of elderflower pressé can't be advertised on the bar, but for the most part, a drinks selection that would be the envy of most bars south of Kensington is overlooked in favour of party-oriented hedonism. Shame.

The beers are great: Sierra Nevada, Anchor Steam and Lowrider are among the draught options, with Argentine Quilmes, German Augustiner Hell and other more prevalent global brands by the bottle. The wine selection isn't shabby, either, and neither are the cocktails: mai tais with Myers's rum, black Russians with Wyborowa and cosmopolitans with Skyy Citron vie for attention with the 'Mojitos' sign above the overflow serving hatch at the back, surrounded by urban murals featuring Grace Jones and other pop icons.

I think you'll find our Mai Tai's are made with Jamaican Appleton V/X gold rum and our Cosmopolitan's with Wyborowa and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Otherwise, thanks for the review.
Join us for cocktails during Happy Hour (see website for details) for great after work discounts.
