This enormous and ambitious undertaking comprises a pair of cocktail lounges, restaurant, bar, suitably rustic deli and wine shop in a vast space that resembles a more edgy, metropolitan All Bar One.
While there's the clichéd wine cellar theme, some of the more 'daring' design touches include bell-jar lamps dangling from curtain rails, a 1950s kitchen and lots of large, loud orange tables.
City boys and girls (all in suits) are seduced by the large list of champagnes, or dabble in the 'wine flights' (actually three standard measures of 125ml). Cocktails are segregated into either 'skinny' - the Russian Rose Martini weighs in at 80 calories - or 'signature' sections.
Starting at 8am serving big breakfasts and brunch, the open-plan kitchen offers burgers, fish pies and sharing platters, including a seafood option of oysters, lobster and clams served in a bank deposit box.
