  • No crowds! No barriers! No more being pinned like a limpet in a tsunami against the glass facade of Topshop! I've just had my first taste of the new diagonal (X-style) pedestrian crossing at Oxford Circus – and stepping onto the tarmac, well, a very joy it was to be alive! What do you think of the new crossing? And more to the point, does it owe it's existence to Tokyo – or Balham ?
