London‘s certainly not short of iconic structures that arouse passions and provoke debate. From Tate Modern to the Tower of London, Battersea Power Station to the BBC‘s Broadcasting House, the Smoke‘s man-made wonders are more diverse in style than any world city‘s, and a tribute to the visionary architects, from Hawksmoor to Scott to Foster, who have helped shape the skyline. Over the coming weeks we‘ll be paying tribute to what we consider to be the capital‘s finest seven man-made marvels

I really hope to visit london
I like Ally Pally; to sit and have a drink in Phoenix Bar and quietly admire impressive views of London's Skyline.
Ally Pally with its diverse mix of landscapes including woodlands, formal gardens, playing fields, meadows where birds, bats, foxes have all made their home in the trees, plants and the wild flora is for me London.
The charity shop with the plastic sacks in Edmonton Green
Battersea power station. It's awe-inspiring in a perverse sort of way. Probably not much else like it in the world.
I simply love the DSS office at Elephant and Castle near the stat dogs compond/
The McDonalds in Green Lanes, Wood Green and the DSS office with the graffetti at Turnpike Lane. Stephen
The trailor park near Chingford Mount cemetary.
I like the portacabins near the rec just of the North Circular Road, North London.
I'm rather fond of the B&Q warehouse at Hanger Lane. They say that it's visible from outer space together with the pyramids and the Great Wall of China. Another icon of civiization.
I rather like the public lavatories at Palmers Green triangle opposite Woolworth - well worth a visit on a summers afternoon. Very Pinteresque. What do the rest of you think?
It is of little use attempting to capture London's beauty by saying this building in Lonodn is beautiful or that architectural complex is magnificent; Lonodn is just beautiful as a whole; like a girl is beautiful. You don't say her nose is a beauty or her brows are perfect. Do you? I don't; I say she is beautiful!
West Ham tube station - lovely on a summer's evening - you can see the gas works and the cemetary.

Hampstead Heath is by far the most beautiful spot in London. I spend 3 days a week there walking, exercising and enjoying lunch at the Brew House Cafe with my son, friends and husband. The views are incredible and there is so much going on - dawn bird watching, musical events, childrens easter egg hunts etc. Well worth a visit.
For me, the most beautiful place ever in London is Hampstead Heath. I adore it! I fell in love with it since the first time I've seen it, and I get there every time I have a chance. I love every part of it, it's perfect for walking, sun- bathing, having some relaxing time with friends or loved ones, but also alone! And it is worth visiting in every season!
