    Museum in Docklands
    Head towards the dock. Outside the excellent Museum in Docklands next to the floating church is a statue of Robert Milligan, a West India merchant and ship owner. How is his first name spelled on the front of the statue?

    Cross the green footbridge and head towards leafy Cabot Square. Turn left outside Canary Wharf tube and enter One Canada Square. Continue towards the board that has a plan of the complex: which company occupies the G3 plot?

    22 Blackwell Basin
    Turn right, go upstairs to the ground-floor lobby of One Canada Square and right out the doors. Walk straight ahead until you reach Cartier Circus and head along Trafalgar Way. Follow the road to a bridge across a housing complex and then down the steps to Blackwell Basin. Walk along towpath until you reach an info board. What are the four sorts of cargo listed as being traded at Blackwell Basin?

    Walk around Blackwell Basin, continue round Poplar Dock to main road. Turn right, past Bridge House, and cross road into Crossharbour. Here are two eighteenth-century houses: the second is named after which English maritime legend?
