    Wonderwoman: re 26. I beg to differ but the shutters were fully down when I visited! And the club didn't seem to want to open in the evening either. Can't get back there now so any clue to the colour would be much appreciated - have everything else if anyone wants to swap!

    Anyone know Question 4 and want to swap with me? I have all the others...

    Hi TimeOut folks, regarding No.41, what about the notice in the right hand door of the theatre, which corresponds directly with the original text of the clue ...is it possible you've second guessed yourselves? Could you please clarify which clue and answer you're after .... cheers.

    KT, Here's help: 25 & 26 - While the clues seem to indicate that you need to enter the restaurant and club respectively, the truth is that you don't. If you push your nose against the glass of Faleva Chic's doors and squint your eyes, you'll be able to see the flowers on the left wall immediately inside the 2nd set of doors. The club's shutters are always half-open, and if you go around there in the day, you'd be able to spot the speakers under the bar. As for Chamberlain, there is only one theater on that side of the road, and the name matches the name of the area. Look above the left-most door. You'll see the glass-enclosed white sign about 10 inches wide and 4 inches high. There you go! Don't forget to split your prize with me ;-)

    I am looking for answers to clues 25, 26, 31 and the clue for Lord Chamberlain. Need help, as nearly drowned because of crappy weather...

    Re: Clue 41, the original wording of the clue (published in TimeOut magazine) seemed to work for us - there's more than one notice to be found referring to the Lord Chamberlain's 'Rules and Regulations'.

    We check the entries ourselves manually - they are not run through a computer...so feel free to take your best shot at answering the clues.
    A few clarifications:
    Clue 8: Leda originates in Greek mythology. For those who have asked for clarifications on the clue, the statue relates to a famous story, and a famous piece of artwork.
    Clue 12: As long as one of your knees is touching the ground, it is kneeling. Check a dictionary.
    Clue 31: Yes, we checked back at the 333, and you are right - there are more than 6 letters. The correct answer would be the first six letters, but if you have answered with the whole word painted there, you'll still be eligible to win the prize.

    I have 3 questions:
    Q.4 = I couldn't for the life of me figure out what that thing was supposed to be on the other side of the river... anyone have any clues? I know what it kind of looked like... can I just describe it?
    Q.12 = so what is 'kneeling' - 2 knees or 1 knee?
    Q.31 = as noted below, it's not 6 letters...

    Clue 31 is still not clear. You mention the 6 letters, when in fact there are 8 letters and a punctuation mark. Please clarify.

    Will they be eligible to win the prize for Money in the Docklands hunt?

    And now we have a problem with somebody abusing this forum, unfortunately.
    The previous message (which will disappear once the cache catches up) is a fake. Clue 43 is indeed up (see Extra Clues above).
    Just to confirm, any queries should come to the treasure hunt email address above, and we will sort them out as soon as possible.
    Anybody who entered three names for the plot G3 clue will still be eligible to win the Grand Prize.
    Thanks again.

    But Clue 43 has already appeared on this website! Are we meant to ignore it and put blank, or do the clue???

    I was really looking forward to this but it's been very disappointing. There have been several corrections to some of the clues because of errors, and some others still remain vague. The insistence on sending you into pubs is ridiculous - are the writer's on commssion from some of the places they're sending us into? Come on Time Out, is it really so hard to write a Treasure Hunt?

    I obviously meant clue 43 below. When will you post it?

  15. Posted by Anca on 07 Apr 2008 12:17

    When will you post clue 42? Weren't you supposed to do it today?
