Alan, Thanks for the clarification. About clue 21, how would you treat the answers that have correctly submitted the names of all 3 businesses including the jeweller's?
Hi all
Apologies for the delay in posting this, and to anyone who has had problems submitting comments here.
Clue 21: We're looking into the confusion over this, but the answer is the name of a jeweller's.
Clue 41: Again, we're checking this, but it appears to have been wrongly worded. We're looking for what must be kept locked during performances.
We'll amend both clues, and I hope this hasn't frustrated everyone too much – and that you've enjoyed the rest of the hunt!
Clue 41 is certainly wrong. Please advise
Clue 41
My assessment coincides with Jen's. There is a rule by order of Lord Chamberlain, but it states nothing about any installations.
TimeOut, could you please confirm that the clue is correct?
There are definitely three companies in G3. I checked all the boards! One is a kiosk, but still a company. Jen - any word on clue 41? I think I found the rule you did, with no prohibiting!
I give up!
It is an egg! One of the duck in the pond laid it right in front of me, and the woman picked it up.
It's not an egg, it's an apple!
did anyone get the clue 4 of riverside walk. i forgot to look!!
Sorry - obviously I meant clue 41 below!
Clue 42: I've found a rule from the Lord Chamberlain but it doesn't prohibit anything being installed. Is there another rule - just Yes or No please!
It's an egg! ...in the hand of the Bishop’s Park Ornamental Pond woman, that is.
Thanks Andy.
I will go back and take another look. However, I think there are 3 companies in G3 (I inspected them on the ground as well on the boards) and only one of them is a food place. But I will go back and try again
Thanks Again
Further to VJ's question (because it wasn't silly enough): Does it count as kneeling if you are kneeling AND bowing?
Also, I agree with everyone: it just isn't fair to have clues inside properties - clubs or bars. As for clue 25....I mean, c'mon! TimeOut, you should seriously reconsider this one...it's obscure, and the people at the bar don't even know (or won't tell)....please keep it fun....I've done theatrical and literary apart from after dark, and though after dark is the shortest, I had much more fun in the other two....
P.S. - Food For Thought in Neal's Yard is great...and if you take out, the food is substantially cheaper too...
Clue 12 - does kneeling on one knee count as kneeling too? Silly question I know.
