Most Londoners love having a proper butcher, deli or greengrocer on their doorstep, but how often do they actually use them when it is so much easier to get Ocado or Sainsbury's to deliver to your door? Feature continues

Highbury Barn Deliveries is a new company based in Islington that attempts to deal with this problem by delivering quality produce to your house from a variety of local artisan outlets. It's currently running for a trial period but, as they say, 'if you like what we’re doing, please order from us and we’ll introduce a permanent service, adding more shops to our delivery route and expanding our delivery area.'

Let's hope it's a success, because we could really do with one of these down in Herne Hill.
