A new cycling scheme in London will let you have a bike for free (sort of)

Move over Boris Bikes: there's a new cycle scheme in town that plans to give London commuters another handy way to whizz around town. But hold on to your cash – Buzzbike will roll out 200 FREE premium single-speed bikes this September for anyone who signs up to become a member. Sounds good, right? Well, there's a catch.

The bikes double-up as ads on wheels, so you'll have to ride to work at least 12 days a month (to help spread the buzz, geddit?), park your bike on the street and put down a £100 deposit if you want to give these two-wheelers a whirl.

At least you won't have to worry about sorting out lights, a bike lock, insurance and servicing for your sponsored borrowed bike – just try not to get it scratched.

Buzzbike is currently crowd-funding, so to find out more visit www.buzzbike.london/#free-bikes.

Here are eight questions you should never ask a cyclist.
