Abra Kebabra: a classy kebab cook off is coming to Dalston

Banish all thoughts of those limp late-night meaty regrets – Abra Kebabra is here to remind you what proper kebabs are and just how fricking tasty they can be.

On August 1, five of London's grilling legends will come together for a kebabathon at the wonderful warehouse and yard of MC Motors in Dalston.

In the hot seat are Carl Clarke (Chick’n Sours), Neil Rankin (Smokehouse), Mangal 1, Berber & Q and Lucky Chip, who'll be dishing up tasty meat treats all day and night. The £25 ticket will get you one kebab from each of these bad boys, a Camden Town beer and a Ruby's Havana Club Turkitho – aka a Turkish mojito – if you rock up before 6pm. There'll also be tunes to shake your tush to, if you can still move it after all that meat. It's going to be magical.
