Alcatrapped: break out from a prison cell in a new escape game at Westfield

Reckon you've got what it takes to bust out of a cell? You can now put your skills to the test at a new escape game that's opening at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush this weekend.

It's called Alcatrapped, and there are no prizes for guessing which infamous San Francisco prison it's been inspired by. But there are some pretty sweet prizes to be won if you can successfully break out of the Alcatraz island inspired escape room.

From June 24 to June 26, Norwegian airlines and Oakland airport are challenging teams of wannabe escapists to take on the challenge and win flights to San Francisco, plus tickets to visit Alcatraz Island to see the historic location that once housed Al Capone and the original public enemy number one, Alvin Karpis.

To be in with a chance of winning, you'll have to work with your fellow teammates to solve a series of San Francisco-themed puzzles within 15 minutes. They'll choose one winner at random every day from the teams that manage to escape. But for those not so adept at puzzle-solving, there's still a chance to win twin flights to San Francisco if you use #Alcatrapped on Twitter or Facebook – so don't be shy of snapping a selfie while you're locked up.

Norwegian launched three weekly direct flights from Gatwick to San Francisco-Oakland in May, starting at £179 for economy or treat yourself to Premium from £499. Quick, easy and on a brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft - yes please!
