Flypay joins the Time Out family

Flypay! It's the handy app that lets you split and pay your restaurant bill at places like Wahaca and Jamie's Italian, available for both iPhone and Android.

And now we've made a 'strategic investment' in the London startup, because we're frickin' ballers. Look out for Flypay-like features appearing in Time Out's mobile apps soon.

They – or is that we? – are also working on a phone-based solution to that age-old problem where you open a bar tab, and, four pints later, wander off into the night with your card still sitting behind the bar. Bring it on.
