Fancy taking part in an enormous piece of participatory art AND burning a few cals at the same time? Chinese artist Xu Zhen needs your help. As part of Art Night on July 2, he’s gathering volunteers in the fountain court at Somerset House for ‘Physique of Consciousness’: the first ‘cultural fitness exercise’ ever made. It will involve a blend of dance, yoga and meditation – but fear not, no experience is necessary.
