AWOOGA – free ice cream alert! Today and tomorrow (August 4-5) Häagen-Dazs and McVitie’s will both be handing out some free scoops. The folks from Häagen-Dazs will be hosting an 'ice-cream academy', where you can turn up for a 15-minute tasting session with their ice-cream experts (which is apparently a thing) and sample their new strawberries and cream flavour.
Once you've stuffed your face with free Häagen-Dazs, get ready to move onto round two of this free ice-cream bonanza at the McVitie’s van, where they're venturing into ice-cream territory with their new biscuit-inspired ice-cream flavours including earl grey rich tea, salted caramel and chocolate Hobnob and jaffa ice-cream cake. They'll be popping up wherever the heck you want them to – just tweet @McVities with #sweeet and your location and they might just rock up with your free ice cream. They'll also be parking up their van in Soho Square tomorrow (August 5) 2-6pm if you want to guarantee yourself a free scoop. Sweeet indeed!
