Time Out says

All goes Birne-shaped in the final opera of Wagner's 'Ring'. Siegfried's killed, Valhalla tumbles, the Rhine overflows and Brünnhilde rather unreasonably rides the one innocent bystander, her horse, into her funeral pyre. By now you'll know if you like or loathe Keith Warner's over-familiar 'concept' production, some of it striking, some fussy, some incongruous. Variable singing; Pappano conducts lyrically but – whether you like it or not – doesn't blow your socks off.
