Time Out says

Balkanising Bloomsbury is a fiction project by Tony White, Leverhulme Trust writer in residence at UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies, which reworks the archive of existing texts about the Balkans, from travel writing, the Hague Tribunal transcripts or mass media texts, using experimental writing and remixing techniques to create completely new works of fiction which explore ideas of European identity. This short story workshop will explore the use of experimental writing techniques to create new works of fiction reflecting on relationships between the Balkans and London. Participants will need to bring a notebook or laptop. Completed stories may be published on the SSEES website. Booking essential; email.a.kuzmanova@ucl.ac.uk.
