Words Over Waltham Forest

Waltham Forest's largest literary festival features over 100 events exploring creative writing, literary-inspired art, reading, language and literature, taking place in a range of venues across the borough, including libraries, pubs and a launderette. Highlights over the three weeks include An Audience with Carol Ann Duffy, Britain's first female Poet Laureate (Nov 2, 7pm), an 'In Conversation' session with bestselling crime author Martina Cole (28 Oct, 7pm), and a workshop on how to write like a Viking (Nov 9, 2pm).
