We're big fans of the weekly email shot Le Cool . It's a weekly hit, right between the eyes, of why we're addicted to this city of ours.

In this week's email, they're bigging up Saturday's Great Cake Escape: 'Guerrilla artists Cherry Bakewell and Fondant Fancy (not their real names, I guess) are planning an East-side shock-and-awe scale cake drop, with the proper Charlie that discovers the "golden cupcake" winning what is teasingly, and vaguely, described as a "mystery prize". Then, it is off to a weird and wonderful street party, slap bang in the middle of Hoxton Square, promising lashings of tea and oodles of sweet and sticky treats.' Eamon Downes

Other treats in this week's shot? Jonny Woo, You Me Bum Bum Train, Mutate Britain and quite a bit of raving. Oh, and one of those breath-stopping late night London moment.
