London's great isn't it? There are not only DJs but dancers and performerstoo.

'What do I care?' we hear you cry. Well, as an extended member of the performing cabaret family that you are – and in these tough times, families should stand by each other, not unlike the Mitchells in 'Eastenders', just without the ignorance, casual thuggery and baldness – frankly, we need you.

A group of lovely boys who go by the name of The Dream Bears are some of these very performers and they made it to the semi final of 'Britain's Got Talent'. Some canny bear-spotter out there will note that they were once in the now-defunct burlesque troupe Bearlesque.

Brilliant, we know! Their semi-final is live this Friday, ITV1 at 8.30pm. For those of you unaware of said bears, let's say they bring a little magic into one's drab life through their fabulous routines and are far better than Susan Boyle and those eyebrows. Yes, there are talented children out there, but there aren't many gay bears doing the can-can are there?
