Time Out says

After A Man to Pet pretty much blew the roof off the Hackney Attic at April's BURN, the platform for moving images by cabaret artists, programmed by TO cabaret editor Ben Walters, is back as part of the East End Film Festival. Suitably enough it's going with an East End theme this time. Expect live performance from Blanche Dubois plus a couple of films that book-end the alt-drag era at Bistrotheque, cradle of the east London tranny perf art party scene: from the early days, a rare screening of Lipsynchronicity, Peter Podworski's record of one of the first shows to get the drag ball rolling at Bistrotheque in 2004; then Vinegar to Jam, the short doc Walters co-directed with Edward Lawrenson about the final performances of Jonny Woo and the LipSinkers at Bistrotheque's cabaret room last year. Complementing those, video work by Jonny Woo from before and after the Bistrotheque years, and videos by Rhyannon Styles, Bourgeois & Maurice, Bryony Kimmings, Christeene, EastEnd Cabaret, Frisky & Mannish, Scottee and much more. It'll be fun.
