Stiff lips, clipped vowels and tremendous recreational stimulation from the chaps and chappesses of the Fitzrovia Radio Hour. Faux-'40s radio plays performed live with effects, props and musical cues, the shows appeal both for their witty, charming evocation of the era's late-Imperial brand of thrills and derring-do and the curiosity value of watching the accomplished soundscapes take form before your eyes. This time round, expect sea monsters, botanical murders, Nazi firemen, chronometrical mayhem and… tin!
