      A multisensory experience for younger children from Oily Cart, with seasonal baking aromas, doughy characters and snow storms of flour. Age 3-6. Read more

      Dec 29-Jan 3 2010, Unicorn Theatre

      Lyngo Theatre's show takes the idea that every family is a circus and sets loose its toddling clowns, teenage lions and plate-spinning parents. Age 2-4. Read more

    • Dr Seuss's The Cat in the Hat

      Dec 11-Jan 18 2010, National Theatre, Cottesloe

      Tickets are disappearing quickly for Dr Seuss's classic tale, adapted and directed by Katie Mitchell for three to six year olds. It opens in the National's Cottesloe and moves to the Young Vic in Jan. Read more

    • Dude! Where's My Teddy Bear

      Dec 29-Jan 2 2010, Tricycle

      Children are encouraged to take a bear along to this teddy quest. Max teddy's missing so Granny and Max retrace their steps which leads them to the beach, where a Bermuda-shirted surfer is, like, totally prepared to help. This is where all the dude-ing starts, much to the childrens' amusement. Age 2-7. Read more

      Lyngo Theatre's interactive show takes the audience through the four seasons from the comfort of floor cushions, with lullabies and games of peek-a-boo. Age 1-3. Read more

    • Goldilocks and the Three Bears

      Until Feb 19 2010, Polka Theatre

      The Polka's new, playful version of the fairytale is directed by Jonathan Lloyd with music by Julian Butler. It's accessible to a wide range of audiences including visually impaired children and there are special versions for children aged 1-2 (early booking advised). Age 3-5. Read more

      Until Sun Dec 13, Unicorn Theatre

      The story of Handa and her friend as they go looking for Grandma's hen: puppet show based on the book by Eileen Browne. Age 2-5. Read more

    • Something Else

      Until Wed Dec 23, Chelsea Theatre

      An adaptation of a children's picture book by Kathryn Cave and Chris Riddell which explores the touching friendship between two unusual creatures, Something and Something Else, from Tall Stories, the company behind 'The Gruffalo'. Age 3+. Also showing at Arts Depot on Sun Nov 8. Read more

    • Splish Splash!

      Dec 10-Jan 31 2010, Little Angel Theatre

      Written by Lyndie Wright and directed by Christopher Leith, the revival of this puppetry piece from 2006 provides lots of interaction and an opportunity for young children to enjoy a watery world. Age 2-5. Read more
