Richard Jones directs Verdi's Shakespearean comedy, which stars Christopher Purves as the corpulent and confounded knight, with Dina Kuznetsova (Alice Ford), Tassis Christoyannis (Ford) and Marie-Nicole Lemieux (Mistress Quickly). Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic and Glyndebourne Chorus. (Sung in Italian with English surtitles.)
