Ensemble Modern give a concert performance of Hans Werner Henze's take on the Greek myth mixed with the ancient Roman cult of Virbius (Ovid), setting a libretto by Christian Lehnert. Michael Boder conducts, with singers Maria Riccarda Wesseling (Phaedra), John Mark Ainsley (Hippolytus), Lauri Vasa (Minotaur) and Axel Koehler (Artemis).
