Benjamin Britten's hauntingly atmospheric opera, an ambiguously twisted tale of corrupted innocence, is based on Henry James's Victorian ghost story. It returns to the Coliseum in David McVicar's award-winning production, with former ENO music director Sir Charles Mackerras conducting a cast that reunites Rebecca Evans, Ann Murray and Cheryl Barker, with Michael Colvin as Quint.
