Opera Rara presents a concert performance of Donizetti's late opera, featuring death, duels and love. Sir Mark Elder conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Geoffrey Mitchell Choir, with Krassimira Stoyanova (Maria, Countess of Rohan), Jose Bros (Riccardo, Count of Chalais), Christopher Purves (Enrico, Duke of Chevreuse), Loic Felix (Armando di Gondi) and Brindley Sherratt (De Fiesque).
