Time Out says

Opera Rara presents a concert performance of Donizetti's late opera, featuring death, duels and love. Sir Mark Elder conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Geoffrey Mitchell Choir, with Krassimira Stoyanova (Maria, Countess of Rohan), Jose Bros (Riccardo, Count of Chalais), Christopher Purves (Enrico, Duke of Chevreuse), Loic Felix (Armando di Gondi) and Brindley Sherratt (De Fiesque). (Note: at 5.45pm in the RFH, Sir Mark Elder is joined by Donizetti expert Roger Parker and OAE Leader Margaret Faultless to discuss the edition of Maria di Rohan and what period instruments can bring to the music of Donizetti; free.)
