OperaUpClose transports Puccini's masterpiece of young love and loss from 1830s Bohemian Paris to the gritty realism of vibrant modern-day north London. A revolving cast includes Charmian Bedford (MimÏ), Christopher Diffey (Rodolfo), Clare Presland (Musetta) and Richard Latham (Marcello). In this pub-theatre production, Robin Norton-Hale directs an intimate staging with a young cast and chorus; piano accompaniment is provided by Andrew Charity.
