Jonathan Miller's hilarious production of Gilbert and Sullivan's comedy returns to the Coliseum for its twenty-fifth anniversary revival. Brimming with show-stopping tunes, the riotous romp follows the shenanigans of the townspeople of Titipu, which is supposedly in Japan but rather resembles 1920s palm-court England. Alfie Boe stars as lovestruck Nanki-Poo opposite Sophie Bevan as his sweetheart Yum-Yum. The cast also includes Richard Angas as the Mikado and the hilarious Richard Suart as Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner, whose 'little list' is lovingly updated nightly. With Donald Maxwell (Pooh-Bah), William Robert Allenby (Pish-Tush), Claudia Huckle (Pitti-Sing) and Anne Marie Owens (Katisha). The conductor is Peter Robinson.
