Telemann's Ouverture des nations anciens et modernes; Handel's Cantata, Figlio d'alte speranze; Locatelli's Concerto grosso in E flat, Op 7 No 6 (Il pianto d'Arianna); Sally Beamish's 'Spinal Chords' (London premiere); and Handel's Cantata, Delirio amoroso. (Note: at 5.45pm Sally Beamish introduces her new commission, which sets a libretto by Melanie Reid who broke her neck and back during a horse-riding accident in 2010. She has since been writing an inspirational account of her life as a columnist for 'The Times' newspaper. The piece reflects her positivity and the immense spirit of the Paralympian movement. Part of the Cultural Olympiad.)
