The Britten Sinfonia under Thomas Adès, with violinist Pekka Kuusisto, performs Couperin's Les baricades mistérieuses (Pièces de clavecin, Ordre No 6); Couperin's Les baricades mistérieuses arr Thomas Adès; Thomas Adès's 3 Studies from Couperin; Ravel's Le tombeau de Couperin; Igor Stravinsky's Le chant du rossignol arr Stravinsky and Dushkin for violin and piano (from Le Rossignol, Scene 2); Stravinsky's Marche chinoise arr Stravinsky and Dushkin for violin and piano (from Le Rossignol, Scene 2); Stravinsky's Suite No 1; Suite No 2; and Adès's Concerto for violin and chamber orchestra ('Concentric Paths'). (Note: at 6.15pm, there is a pre-concert talk with Pekka Kuusisto.)
