Opera as you have never encountered it before – playful holographic characters act out a visually stunning story to the accompaniment of renaissance madrigals (by Gesualdo) and contemporary works (James Weeks, Christopher Fox and Salvatore Sciarrino) sung by five-part vocal ensemble Exaudi. This haunting dramatic work tells a touching, fractured tale of absence and regret through music, startling images and visual wonder.
Performed by Opera Erratica directed by Patrick Eakin Young and the choir Exaudi directed by James Weeks.
(Note: at 6pm, the music journalist Igor Toronyi-Lalicc hats with Opera Erratica director Patrick Eakin Young about the project.)
