The Nash Ensemble, conducted by Paul Watkins, performs Turnage's 'Returning' for string sextet, Birtwistle's 'Pieces from Orpheus Elegies' for countertenor, oboe and harp, MacMillan's Horn Quintet, Goehr's Clarinet Quintet (world première) and Colin Matthews' 'The Island' for soprano, alto flute, horn, piano, harp, viola and cello' (world premiere).
