Classical Music

A performance by a massed youth choir made up of over 700 young singers from the London Borough of Newham and Waltham Forest.

The programme includes a selection of folksongs from around the world, singing in languages including Gaelic, Spanish, Russian and Hindi, followed by a loose retelling of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest', directed by East End Opera's Shirley Keen, including songs in several styles, such as opera, gospel, rock'n'roll and Bollywood.
